Guatemalan coffee is a true gem! Grown in the high-altitude regions, it boasts a complex flavour profile. Expect bright acidity and fruity notes and toffee undertones. The Guatemalan beans has a silky texture.

Nestled in the picturesque north-western highlands of Guatemala, the Cuilco region of Huehuetenango is home to a dedicated group of small coffee producers who are the heart and soul of Hunbatz coffee. These producers cultivate their coffee with care, drawing from centuries-old traditions passed down through generations. For every 30 kg bag of Hunbatz coffee sold, a tree is planted on behalf of the purchasing roaster, so far we have planted 24 trees in collaboration with Javier from Caribbean Goods.

A donation of 50p from each bag sold will go to the charity 'Friends of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs' for red squirrel conservation and other fantastic work within the National Park.

This delicious coffee is roasted right in the heart of Balmaha, East Loch Lomond.

Tip: All our coffee beans are roasted fresh and are best consumed within 6 weeks of roast date.
